Sheet piling wall leaks

As the result of obstacles below ground, joints in sheet piling walls can spring and thus give rise to water and sand leaks after the construction pit is excavated. Once a construction pit has been excavated, it is essential for the surrounding area and adjoining buildings that the leak is plugged.

B&W has many techniques and injection materials available to seal any sheet piling wall leak. We are able to seal the leak from inside the construction pit using divers if the pit is filled with water.

Leaks that do not move sand can also prevent progress of the construction. These leaks are mainly sealed from the inside using our own developed acrylic gels MBA4® and MBA6®.
