B&W Grondinjectie

As a result of the increasing shortage of construction space and the stimulation of underground construction in inner-city areas, planners and builders are being faced with increasingly difficult technical problems. And the greatest problem is the effect of the construction on surrounding structures. The problems that arise when building next to adjoining sites can be roughly divided into two groups. The first group is the problem of subsidence caused to adjoining sites by vibrations or excavations. Lowering the groundwater level to make a dry construction pit is responsible for the second group. All combinations of both of these groups are also possible.

B&W Grondinjectie provides Dutch construction companies with solutions for both types of problem. We carry out horizontal water retaining soil injection or soil injection to seal the underneath of construction pits from the ingress of groundwater. A construction pit that is quickly dry speeds up the construction process and thus ensures that the effect of the lowering of the groundwater level in the construction pit has no effect on the surroundings.

To prevent subsidence of buildings, such as when constructing a cellar next to a house, we carry out structural soil injection. In this way sandy soil is as it were turned into stone by binding the individual grains of sand together with sealant.

For solving the acute problems in construction pits relating to the ingress of groundwater whether or not it brings soil with it, B&W will take on any type of construction pit seepage!
